Hi! My name is Aurorux, Guardian of the DancingLights Pack! I know I may not look like much but trust me, I'm a wonderful guide! Ill help guid you around our site! What makes DancingLights different from other wolfing games?
Most wolfing games are just that. Games. DancingLights is much more. We are a famiy, both in and out of characters. Its members are not just casual roleplayers but avid, dedicated people who are wolfhearted and let their wolven spirits thrive while in character. Our characters are not just pawns to be played, they are extensions of our phsyical selves.DancingLights is based off a chat server, which plays a big part in what seperates it from other games which are generally based off of forums, wetpaint or freewebs. The biggest difference being real time roleplay, thats right! No more refreshing the page every 10 minutes to see if anyone responded!
In having access to a chat server we also have the ability to bring in Guardians, programed wolves that assist in things like hunting, weather conditions, food stores, and other information that provides a more realistic spin on the roleplay.
What is WolfHearted?
WolfHearted is not the same as being a furrie, or a werewolf. Being WolfHearted simply means that you are a human vessal harboring a wolf's soul. Its more of a spiritual essence of being then a lifestyle.

- With their previous kill desposed of, Arctix, Shivver and Silas set out on what turns out to be Silas' first packhunt! The trio sets their sights on a lynx which ends up being a suprisingly easy kill. Silas still has alot to learn but we applaud his efforts! Everyone should catch up with the kill in the next few days.January 25, 2011
- Silas joins our merry band of misfits while another lone female named Dhoom inches ever closer to the pack. The boar has been reduced to a few frozen scraps, the group will have to begin moving again soon.January 22, 2011
- Shivver and Arctix spend the days after thier kill lounging in the glory of their little victory. However, the smell of a fresh kill is enough to attract the most timid of creatures. Two females have joined the little group, as well as Arctix's sister, Snowspell who finally found her way through the ice and snow to her brothers side. We welcome Snowspell, Kafka and Summerstar to our little caravan.January 21, 2011
- While Shivver is slumbering off her full belly, Arctix has the opportunity to meet the lone female that had scented the boar..the pair welcomes SummerStar as the newest addition to their little team!January 19, 2011
- Finally the duo catches a bit of good luck! A fog settled over the land, making hunting easier. With Shivvers paw nearly healed, the two were able to take down a female boar. They enjoy a day of serenity, lounging about with full bellies.January 15, 2011
- Shivver's wounds are healing and the two have travelled a long way. At a rest stop, the two discuss what the future would bring. Arctix speaks of his home back in the far north, of the lights that dance across the sky and shivver is intrigued. Finally a destination!January 13, 2011
- The two have not eatten anything substantial in days. Just when they thought their luck was about to run out, Shivver sniffed out a kill. An elk, bogged down in the blizzard had expired. There wasn't much, but the life-giving sustainace was practically a gormet meal for the two starving wolves.
